Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jet Fen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Richard Callaghan!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Callaghan punishes Fen's body with a nice straight punch.
Fen misses the body punch
and Callaghan counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Jet Fen has been cut.
Callaghan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Callaghan avoids the body shot from Fen.
Callaghan needs to keep his hands up - Fen had a free shot at his head there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

letting Callaghan counter with a right hand.

Fen throws a head kick that misses
enabling Callaghan to counter with a crisp jab.
Fen misses with a low kick.
Jet Fen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fen throws a shot from downtown. Callaghan moves away and avoids it.
Callaghan looks to score with a jab to the body but Fen is just out of range.
Callaghan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fen throws a leg kick
and Callaghan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Callaghan pushes Fen away with a front kick.
Fen is breathing heavily.
Callaghan throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Fen crashing down! Fen tries to stagger back to his feet but Callaghan just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Fen asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Richard Callaghan!
