Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kim Karlsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Son Wukong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karlsen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Home by BZ's. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Karlsen shoots and misses
and Karlsen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Karlsen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wukong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A solid body kick from Wukong.
Wukong works Karlsen's body with a nice hook.
Karlsen is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Karlsen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wukong counters with a left to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kim Karlsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wukong throws a leg kick which misses Karlsen's front leg but catches the back leg as Karlsen tries to avoid it.
Wukong lands a lovely overhand right.
A nice leg kick lands there from Wukong.
Wukong lands a jab to the head.
Wukong throws a series of punches but Karlsen avoids them all with ease.
Karlsen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wukong counters with a stiff right hand.
Wukong connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Kim Karlsen has been cut.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Karlsen. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Wukong connects with a solid leg kick.
Karlsen gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Karlsen tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Wukong is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Karlsen buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Karlsen!! Karlsen is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Wukong throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
