The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Can shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Can tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pacquiao swivels and escapes.
Pacquiao fails to land with a series of punches.
Pacquiao misses with the combination.
Can throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pacquiao's waist but Pacquiao gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Can off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomato Can. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Can shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pacquiao as he avoids it easily.
Pacquiao cracks Can with a good jab.

Can shoots for a double leg takedown but Pacquiao sprawls well. He's pushed Can's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pacquiao tries to bum rush Can with a series of wild strikes but Can uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Can dodges the punch combination from Pacquiao.
Can misses with a takedown attempt - Pacquiao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Pacquiao misses with a double jab.
Can shoots for a takedown but Pacquiao saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Can drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Can is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pacquiao is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pacquiao pushes Can away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Can gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Pacquiao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Can. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Can tries to move to mount but Pacquiao blocks the move with his legs.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Pacquiao is pushing Can's head away, looking to escape. Can manages to hold on to the position though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Can shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pacquiao as he jumps to the side.
Manny Pacquiao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Can is breathing heavily.
Can misses with a takedown attempt - Pacquiao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Can fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pacquiao moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Tomato Can has been cut.
Pacquiao connects with a jab.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Can shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Can walks into a stiff left hand from Pacquiao.

Can is rocked!
Can tries for a takedown but Pacquiao sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Pacquiao scores with a jab. Can acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Oh Can is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Can shoots in but Pacquiao avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pacquiao drops Can with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Can! Pacquiao dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
