PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Flint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Flint has chosen Benga & Coki - Night as his entrance music. Jack Flint told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frankie Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Flint!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Barnes lands an impressive looking overhand right. Flint doesn't seem phased though.
Flint thows a leg kick but Barnes checks it
and Barnes counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Barnes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A nice inside leg kick there by Barnes. That's going to slow Flint down.
Flint stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barnes.
Barnes throws a series of punches but Flint avoids them all with ease.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Flint checks a leg kick.
Barnes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Flint.
Flint lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flint scores with a jab. Barnes acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Barnes connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Barnes catches Flint with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Barnes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Barnes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Flint.
Flint tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Flint takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Barnes scores with a leg kick.
Flint on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Flint looks gassed!
Barnes moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Barnes knocks Flint out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
