Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bud Macintosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luck Chidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macintosh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chidell as he jumps to the side.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Macintosh swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Chidell is now in Macintosh's guard. A big mistake from Macintosh there, giving up the dominant position!

Chidell using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Macintosh has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Macintosh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chidell walks away with a smile on his face. Macintosh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Chidell throws a head kick that Macintosh semi-blocks.

Macintosh looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Chidell tries to kick Macintosh off but Macintosh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Macintosh is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Chidell still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Chidell has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Macintosh is looking to regain half guard here but Chidell keeps moving and retains side control.

Chidell stands up and beckons Macintosh to his feet.

Macintosh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chidell's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Macintosh drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Macintosh as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Chidell screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Macintosh! Nice submission victory there!
