Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raul Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sanchez did well to prevent Boyle getting side control.
Sanchez makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sanchez.

Sanchez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boyle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sanchez looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Boyle's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Boyle drops back looking for a leg! Sanchez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sanchez manages to kick Boyle off! Boyle jumps back into Sanchez's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanchez is trying to keep Boyle in close.

Boyle has hold of Sanchez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sanchez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Boyle is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sanchez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sanchez shrugs it off.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Fred Boyle wasn't active enough on the ground.

Sanchez throws a jab but it's blocked by Boyle.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sanchez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boyle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A close round but Fred Boyle will probably get the nod.

Sanchez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Boyle on the side of the head.
Boyle gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sanchez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boyle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sanchez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sanchez drops Boyle with a beautiful combination! Boyle stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sanchez is looking for the KO!

BOOM! Sanchez lands a beautiful left hook that drops Boyle. Boyle tries to recover but Sanchez is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Boyle lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
