Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Mercury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Om Nom Nom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mercury comes to the cage accompanied by Shawn Michaels -Sexy Boy. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercury takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nom Nom scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nom Nom feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mercurys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Nom Nom is looking to chop away at Mercury's legs.
Nom Nom works over Mercury's head and body with a nice combination.
Nom Nom throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Nom Nom throws a series of punches but Mercury avoids them all with ease.
Mercury finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Mercury cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nom Nom fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mercury.

Mercury rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Nom Nom counters with a straight right hand.
Mercury throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mercury takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Mercury is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheers as Nom Nom lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mercury doesn't seem phased though.
Nom Nom dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mercury takes one to the side of the head.
No luck for Mercury with that takedown attempt.

Nom Nom lands with an uppercut that bounces Mercury off the cage and back into rage.
Nom Nom connects with a right hand. Mercury shakes it off.

Mercury shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nom Nom regains full guard. Nicely done.
Nom Nom pulls Mercury in to control the position.
Nom Nom manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Nom Nom takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Mercury tries to buck Nom Nom off but he can't manage it.
Mercury is in a horrible position here. Nom Nom smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Mercury is bucking up trying to escape but Nom Nom cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nom Nom looking to control but Mercury is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Nom Nom won't let Mercury get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mercury looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Nom Nom slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Om Nom Nom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nom Nom clobbers Mercury with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mercury takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nom Nom has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Mercury looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

and Nom Nom counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Nom Nom.

Mercury tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mercury takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nom Nom throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mercury stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Mercury walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nom Nom throws a quick inside leg kick.
Nom Nom bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mercury's head backwards.
Nom Nom cracks Mercury with an open hand slap.
Sloppy strikes from Nom Nom. Those never looked like landing.

Mercury moves forwards but Nom Nom connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Nom Nom bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mercury's head.
Oh Mercury is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
and Nom Nom counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Mercury! He's just covering up as Nom Nom starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
