The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitmonchan thuds his shin into the meat of Sobrawl's side.
Sobrawl takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Hitmonchan scores with a head kick. Sobrawl tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Sobrawl takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hitmonchan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sobrawl walks into a left hand.
Hitmonchan's corner calls for a 1-2. Hitmonchan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Sobrawl misses with a lunging right hand
and Hitmonchan counters with a left to the body.
Sobrawl pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hitmonchan digs a good hook to Sobrawl's body.
Hitmonchan lands with an uppercut that bounces Sobrawl off the cage and back into rage.
Hitmonchan slips a jab from Sobrawl.
Sobrawl misses with an uppercut. Hitmonchan saw that one coming.
Hitmonchan thows a body kick. Sobrawl tries to catch it but that hurt him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sobrawl has his takedown stuffed
and Hitmonchan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Sobrawl looks gassed!

Hitmonchan lands with a slapping head kick.
The Punchy Pokemon Hitmonchan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sobrawl gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hitmonchan.
Hitmonchan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Sobrawl takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hitmonchan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sobrawl under the eye.
