The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amber falls off balance throwing a combination
and Belisle counters with a stiff right hand.
Dave Amber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Belisle.
Belisle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amber keeps working.

Belisle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Amber is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Belisle controls the position from side control.
Belisle's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Check out the look on Belisle's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Belisle looks up at the clock and then as Amber takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Belisle smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Belisle tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Belisle prevents Amber from escaping the position.
Belisle has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Belisle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Amber is looking to escape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Belisle postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Amber in real trouble here! The ref calls for Amber to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
