Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zak Drezner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drezner comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill - Checkmate. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Peter Piper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drezner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Drezner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Drezner is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Drezner catches Piper with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Drezner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Piper stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Piper takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Drezner connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Piper walks straight into a right hand from Drezner - that's dropped him! Drezner jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Piper from any more punishment! Piper complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Zak Drezner!
