Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diago Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lightning Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jay Z - Moment of Clarity kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Sanchez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Storm on the side of the head.

Storm comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Storm gets tackled into the cage by Sanchez. Sanchez maintains the clinch.

Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown. Storm tries to sprawl out of it but Sanchez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Storm manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sanchez dives in and grabs Storm's left leg, looking for a takedown. Storm pushes down on Sanchez's head and hops out.
Sanchez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Storm moves away.
Storm feints and then cracks Sanchez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sanchez down.

Storm really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sanchez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Storm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Storm can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Storm is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Sanchez rather than just go for the knockout.

Storm throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sanchez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Lightning Storm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Storm lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sanchez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sanchez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sanchez is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Storm will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sanchez up against the cage.

Lightning Storm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Storm feints a jab promting Sanchez to slip. Storm then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sanchez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Storm.
Storm cracks Sanchez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Storm clobbers Sanchez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Storm does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Storm, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Storm against the cage but Storm circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Storm takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Storm sizes up Sanchez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Sanchez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Storm manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
