Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamarcus Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jamarcus Johnson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Cherry finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Cherry throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it.
Jamarcus Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cherry tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Johnson is able to avoid easily.

Cherry forces Johnson back against the cage and clinches.
Cherry is pushing Johnson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Johnson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Cherry looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Cherry breaks the clinch.
Johnson scores with a body shot.
Johnson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cherry swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Johnson counters with a two punch combo.
Johnson misses with a wild body shot.
Johnson throws a shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cherry doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cherry is breathing heavily.
Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cherry moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cherry connects with a nice looking jab.

Johnson misses with a few strikes there.
Cherry slips under a jab from Johnson.
Johnson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cherry.

It looks like Don Cherry has been cut.
Cherry needs to keep his hands up - Johnson had a free shot at his head there.
Cherry tries to move into range but Johnson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Cherry is rocked!
Johnson fakes the body blow, causing Cherry to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Cherry goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
