Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Hodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marley Sabu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hodo comes to the cage accompanied by It's Ok.... Sabu has chosen pure hatred as his entrance music. David Hodo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Hodo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Hodo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Hodo scores with a nice head shot.
Hodo moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Sabu gets tackled into the cage by Hodo. Hodo maintains the clinch.

Hodo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hodo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hodo has Sabu pressed against the cage, preventing Sabu from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Hodo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Hodo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A jab from Hodo does it's job there.

Hodo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Hodo scores with a sloppy right hand. Sabu should have avoided that one.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sabu swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hodo counters with a left and a right that stings Sabu.
Sabu is still on wobbly legs! Can Hodo finish him?

and Hodo counters with a series of strikes. Sabu will be more careful next time no doubt.

Hodo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Hodo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Both fighters circling a little - Hodo finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
The fighters circle, before Hodo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Sabu's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Hodo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
