Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sly Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olav Klint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Olav Klint!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klint misses with a body shot
and Randolph counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Klint throws a sloppy body shot
and Randolph counters with a straight right hand.

and Randolph connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Randolph cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Klint takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Randolph feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Klint is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Randolph dives into side control.

Randolph is trying to get an arm triangle but Klint is defending well.

Klint pushes Randolph away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Randolph gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Randolph is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Klint has escaped the position, nice work there.
Randolph is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Klint's shoulder. That is not cool.
Randolph seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Klint for as long as he can get away with.
Randolph is looking to take a break and control but Klint is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Klint gets back to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Klint tries to sprawl but Randolph drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Randolph is just content to waste time from the top position. Klint takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Randolph is looking to advance position but Klint won't allow it.

Randolph fails with the takedown

and Klint counters with a nice double leg into side control. Randolph won't be happy with that.

Randolph is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Klint is just riding it out for now. Randolph eventually gives up the hold.
