The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wright looks to land a combination but Rivers avoids it well.

Rivers is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wright had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rivers throws out a powerful jab.

Rivers drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Wright's head, knocking him out cold! Rivers is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
