A fine choice. Zenin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Helloween - Power. The key to victory for Joe Frbleson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frbleson throws a head kick that misses.

Zenin gets a takedown into half guard.

Zenin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Zenin is looking for a kimura but Frbleson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Zenin to get the leverage.

Frbleson is desperately trying to improve his position but Zenin has a good base and remains in mount.
Frbleson wants to hold on but Zenin pushes him away.

Zenin moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Frbleson has worked his arm free - good work by Frbleson!
Frbleson is trying to control Zenin's posture but Zenin avoids it.

Zenin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Frbleson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Zenin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Zenin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Frbleson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Frbleson wants to control but Zenin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zenin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Frbleson, who protects the arm well.

Zenin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Frbleson has escaped the position, nice work there.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Frbleson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zenin.
Zenin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Frbleson throws a leg kick that misses.
Zenin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Frbleson counters with a three punch combo that has Zenin backing up. Zenin nods at Frbleson to acknowledge the strikes.
Zenin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Frbleson's waist but Frbleson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zenin off to one side.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Frbleson, right into the meat.

Zenin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Zenin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Frbleson has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on Frbleson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frbleson manages to get back to half guard.

Frbleson is defending against the submission attempts here by Zenin.

Zenin seems to be looking for submissions.
Zenin is thwarting Frbleson's attempts to control the position.
Zenin is looking to advance position but Frbleson won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Frbleson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Frbleson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Frbleson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Frbleson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Frbleson tries to clinch but Zenin is having none of it.
Frbleson needs to keep his hands up - Zenin had a free shot at his head there.
Zenin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zenin.
Zenin swats away the attempt to clinch by Frbleson.
Zenin is breathing heavily.

Frbleson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zenin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Frbleson misses with a double jab

and Zenin counters with a takedown into side control.
Frbleson tries to buck Zenin off but Zenin is having none of it.

Zenin is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Frbleson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Zenin gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Frbleson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Zenin lets go of the hold and Frbleson can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Vladimir Zenin!
