Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Bravado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lotus comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lotus throws a right and a left that Bravado avoids nicely.
Lotus throws a one two combo.
It looks like Eddie Bravado has been cut.
Lotus darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Bravado shoots in and gets a takedown into Lotus's guard.
Lotus controls Bravado momentarily but Bravado frees himself.
Bravado tries to free his leg and advance position but Lotus is retaining full guard.
Lotus working a defensive guard but Bravado manages to pass into side control anyway.
Lotus prevents Bravado from improving position.
Lotus is trying to buck Bravado off.
Bravado working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Bravado postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bravado fails to move to back control.

Bravado wants to control the pace but Lotus is squirming around nicely.
Bravado throwing strikes but Lotus recovers to half guard. A much better position.

Tommy Lotus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lotus misses with a body shot.
Tommy Lotus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lotus moves away from the strike by Bravado.
Bravado dives in and grabs Lotus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lotus pushes down on Bravado's head and hops out.
Lotus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bravado was well out of range. Poor timing from Lotus.
Lotus misses with a series of wild punches.
Lotus falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bravado counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lotus won't be happy with that.
Lotus bucks up and tries to throw Bravado off but instead Bravado has got his back!
Lotus has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Lotus trying to control the position but Bravado manages to sink in the hooks.
Well, with Bravado on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Lotus is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Bravado is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lotus knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lotus for a finish.
Bravado has got his arm under Lotus's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Lotus has spun round into Bravado's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Bravado is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lotus defends well.

Lotus trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bravado's guard.
Lotus wants to control from the top but Bravado keeps moving.
Lotus drops back looking for a leg! Bravado is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bravado manages to kick Lotus off! Lotus jumps back into Bravado's guard.
Lotus avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Lotus trying to control but Bravado is working from the bottom.
Bravado wants to sweep here but Lotus controlling him for the moment.
Bravado isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lotus stacks Bravado on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lotus!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bravado can't do much from the bottom here.
Lotus throwing strikes but Bravado manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Lotus is looking to regain half guard here but Bravado keeps moving and retains side control.
Lotus manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Lotus is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Lotus wants to stand up but Bravado is controlling the position.

Eddie Bravado showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Lotus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Bravado counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Bravado is keen to just control but Lotus is a slippery customer.

Bravado has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lotus defend it? Bravado steps over the head and cranks it - Lotus is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bravado!
