The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gautier throws a looping overhand right but Babu ducks down to avoid it.
Babu sizes up Gautier with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Babu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gautier swings wildly with an uppercut but Babu uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gautier lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Babu.
Gautier tries to work over Babu's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Babu lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gautier backwards.

Babu gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
