Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby TupperII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dog Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bobby TupperII!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dog Penn!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TupperII takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
TupperII rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Penn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
TupperII swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
TupperII throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jab by Penn.


It looks like Bobby TupperII has been cut.

Penn gets caught flat footed, as TupperII shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
TupperII trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
TupperII is working hard here to advance position.
TupperII won't allow Penn to sweep him here.
TupperII trying to control but Penn is working from the bottom.
Penn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for TupperII!
TupperII swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

TupperII tries to hold on but Penn pushes him away.
TupperII is trying to stand.
TupperII tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Penn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
TupperII tries to lock up and control but Penn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
TupperII is in all sorts of trouble here.
TupperII tries to hold on but Penn postures up.
TupperII is breathing heavily.
Penn connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Penn sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
TupperII keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

TupperII is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Penn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
TupperII is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dog Penn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Penn cracks a nice hook into TupperII's ribs.
Penn lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
TupperII misses with a takedown attempt
and Penn makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Penn lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt TupperII or not.
Penn lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Penn lands a knee to the head.
Penn lands on the inside with an uppercut.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Penn drives through and clinches with TupperII against the cage.

A left hand lands to the body for Penn.

Penn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! TupperII's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Penn pushes TupperII up against the cage in a clinch.

TupperII throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Penn creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Penn with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Penn gets through TupperII's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Penn lands an uppercut.
TupperII is trying to push Penn away but Penn has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Penn gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Penn prevents a takedown attempt there.

TupperII is trying to break the clinch but Penn has him pressed against the cage.

Penn lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt TupperII or not.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Penn has TupperII pressed against the cage, preventing TupperII from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Penn darts in and clinches TupperII up against the cage.
Penn lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


Bobby TupperII's cut is getting worse.
Penn connects with a knee to the head.
Penn stalling against the cage.
The crowd are getting on Penn's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on TupperII's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Penn lands a knee to the head.
TupperII letting Penn take a breather here.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Dog Penn.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from TupperII lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Penn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Penn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Penn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Penn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Penn is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Penn clinches up against the cage.
Penn has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Penn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

TupperII has Penn up against the cage in a clinch.
TupperII blocks the elbow strike.
TupperII swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Penn lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Penn takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Penn on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

TupperII's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bobby TupperII seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
TupperII throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Penn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. TupperII manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bobby TupperII's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Penn is stalling in the full guard.
Penn pushes down on TupperII's leg and manages to get into half guard.

TupperII misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Penn lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
TupperII trying to control here.

Penn stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows TupperII to get to his feet.

Penn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
TupperII wants to break free but Penn has control.

Penn breaks from the clinch.
TupperII misses with a shot to the body
and TupperII takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
TupperII has his takedown stuffed
and Penn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Jeez, Bobby TupperII's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Penn fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bobby TupperII's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
