Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobrisio Herdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stark's entrance music is Jay Z - Dig a Hole. A fine choice. Herdum has chosen Motorhead - Stay Clean as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herdum stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stark.
Herdum takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Herdum throws a front kick aimed at Stark's knee but Stark avoids it well.
Stark avoids the head kick by Herdum.
Herdum closes the distance but Stark moves to the side
letting Stark counter with a right hand.
Stark dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Herdum misses with a shot to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Herdum looks gassed!
Herdum throws a body kick the misses
and Stark counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A lazy body kick from Herdum
and Stark counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Herdum off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Stark follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Herdum was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Thomas Stark!
Thomas Stark retains his heavyweight title!
