Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deshaun Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cray Daddy Tay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tay has chosen Blue (Dancing Crayfish Version) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Deshaun Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cray Daddy Tay!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders tries to clinch up
and Tay counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tay defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sanders.
Tay misses with a jab to the body
and Sanders counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Tay swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Sanders counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Tay working a defensive guard here.
Tay keeping moving, preventing Sanders from controlling successfully.
Sanders advances position into side control!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanders is looking to take a break and control but Tay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tay can't do much from the bottom here.
Sanders misses with the ground and pound.
Tay tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sanders wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sanders scores with a couple of short elbows.
You can see the frustration on Tay's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sanders wants to control but Tay is keeping him busy.
Sanders cracks Tay with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Tay parries the strikes from Sanders easily there. Sanders is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tay to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sanders trying to control the position but Tay is working away.
Sanders has knee on belly momentarily but Tay bucks him off and regains half guard.
Sanders works his foot free and advances to mount.
Tay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanders. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sanders landing strikes, looking to finish!
Tay is looking to get to half guard.
Tay is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tay wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Sanders.
Sanders wants to control the pace but Tay is squirming around nicely.
Tay keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sanders trying to control but Tay is having none of it.
Tay tries to hold on but Sanders postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Deshaun Sanders dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Sanders tries to clinch
and Sanders takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sanders closes the distance and clinches up with Tay, looking for a takedown. Sanders pushes Tay against the cage but Tay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tay rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sanders counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Tay throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sanders sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sanders wants to clinch
and Tay counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sanders throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tay's waist but Tay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanders off to one side.
Sanders falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tay counters with a straight right hand.
Tay throws a nice looking combination but Sanders bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sanders misses with a left hand
and Tay counters with a stiff right hand.
Sanders lands with a shot to the body.
Sanders shoots in for a double leg but Tay sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deshaun Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tay throws out a loose jab but Sanders uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tay throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sanders with a lazy takedown attempt
and Tay counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Left hook, right uppercut from Tay.
Sanders will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tay misses with a few strikes there.
Tay scores with a hook to the body. Sanders takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sanders tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tay counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sanders wants to clinch
and Tay makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Tay waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sanders.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jab, jab by Tay - just one landing.
Sanders moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tay uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sanders has time to react.


Sanders is rocked!
Sanders throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tay counters with a big right hand! Oh Sanders is in trouble here! Tay follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cray Daddy Tay!
