The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rich catches Tuo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Pat Tuo has been cut.
Rich misses with a wild body shot.
Tuo tries for a takedown but Rich circles away easily
and Rich counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Tuo is rocked!
Tuo is looking for a sweep. Rich is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tuo is still in real trouble! Can Rich finish him?
Rich is working for a kimura but Tuo is defending it quite comfortably.
Rich content to control rather than advance.

Tuo seems to have recovered his senses.
Tuo is in trouble now - Rich has advanced to mount!
Rich trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rich unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Tuo wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Rich celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
