The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St James ducks right into an uppercut from Babbage.
Babbage throws a lazy head kick
enabling St James to counter with a crisp jab.
Babbage takes a swing at St James's ribcage but misses.
St James throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Babbage scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
St James throws a leg kick but Babbage moved away.

St James ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Babbage moves away.
Babbage bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

St James has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Babbage finds it's way round the side to connect with St James's head.

St James shoots in looking for a takedown but Babbage manages to keep the fight standing, pushing St James's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Babbage connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed St James momentarily.
St James has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Babbage.

St James tries to bum rush Babbage with a series of wild strikes but Babbage uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Babbage feints and then cracks St James's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow St James down.
