Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mazaman Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olof Orkidea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orkidea has chosen You're The Best as his entrance music. Mazaman Man has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Orkidea there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Orkidea throws the kick towards the body but Man avoids it.
Man looks for a takedown but Orkidea sprawls well.
Man takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Man changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Orkidea tries to avoid it but Man manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Orkidea to the ground. Orkidea escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Man checks a low kick from Orkidea.
No luck for Man with that takedown attempt.

Orkidea lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Orkidea darts in and clinches Man up against the cage.

Man shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Orkidea napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Orkidea stops Man from passing to mount.
Man throwing strikes but Orkidea manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Man looks to move to half guard but instead Orkidea has passed into mount! Damn!

Orkidea wants to control the pace but Man is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
and Man counters with a single leg into guard. Orkidea didn't expect that.

Man postures up in Orkidea's guard and throws a big left but Orkidea blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man throws a strike but Orkidea rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Man doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Man lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Orkidea!

That was a close round but I would say that Mazaman Man will probably get the nod.
