Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damian Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ninja Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Danzig - Mother. The key to victory for Damian Miller has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damian Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ninja Steele!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele has his takedown stuffed
and Miller counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Miller misses with a wild combination.
Steele closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steele misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Steele is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Miller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Steele looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steele is looking to take a break and control but Miller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Steele working the ground and pound but Miller is defending the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Miller wants to get back to his feet but Steele drags him back down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Steele content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Steele sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Miller is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Miller's face as Steele controls the position.
Miller tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Steele wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Miller paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Miller throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Miller looks to land a combination but Steele avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Steele crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Miller - the referee stops the clock and Steele gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Miller. Steele manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Damian Miller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Steele shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Steele showed some decent athleticism there.
Steele wants to pass the guard but Miller is defending well.
Steele prevents Miller from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damian Miller dominated that round.
That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Miller motions for Steele to come forward. Miller throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Steele tries for a takedown but Miller circles away easily
letting Miller counter with a right hand.
Steele blocks a jab.
Miller throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Steele doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Miller counters with a nice low kick that buckles Steele's knee momentarily.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Miller! Steele is out on his feet! Miller rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Steele is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Steele is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Damian Miller!
