Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Valdemar Friman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Friman's entrance music is Metallica - Damage Inc.. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Friman misses with a double jab
and Andersson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Friman throws a low kick but Andersson avoids it.
Andersson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Friman. Friman circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Friman on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Friman moves in looking to clinch but Andersson pushes him off.

and Andersson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Friman throws a nice looking combination but Andersson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Friman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Andersson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Andersson counters with a nice uppercut.
Friman lands a nice looking body shot.
Andersson looks to score with a jab to the body but Friman is just out of range.
Friman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Friman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Andersson looks to throw the jab but Friman is out of range.
Valdemar Friman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Andersson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Friman closes the distance but Andersson moves to the side
and Andersson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Frank Andersson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Friman wants to clinch up but Andersson keeps it at a distance.

Andersson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

and Andersson counters with a nice uppercut.

Nice straight punches there by Andersson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Andersson.

Friman lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Friman needs to keep his hands up - Andersson had a free shot at his head there.

Andersson lands with a shot to the body.
Andersson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Friman to the canvas! Friman doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Andersson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
