Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Elkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ogun Zepkirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elkins's entrance music is Care Bear Countdown. A fine choice. Zepkirk is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Andreas Tilliander - Back to the USA. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dwight Elkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ogun Zepkirk!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zepkirk throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Elkins counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Elkins swings away with a leg kick that misses.

and Elkins counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Zepkirk is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Zepkirk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Elkins counters with a solid body kick.
Elkins scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Elkins.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Elkins counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Good leg kick by Elkins there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Elkins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Zepkirk tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Elkins is in Zepkirk's guard.
Zepkirk is trying to hold Elkins in close to prevent damage but Elkins has managed to pass into half guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Elkins cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Elkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zepkirk jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Elkins is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Elkins and Zepkirk has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Zepkirk is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Elkins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
