Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyo Kurosaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jordan Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyo Kurosaki!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kurosaki.
Clark closes the distance but Kurosaki moves to the side

and Kurosaki counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Clark wants to control but Kurosaki is keeping busy.
Well, if Kurosaki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Clark is refusing to be controlled, as Kurosaki sits in half guard.

Kurosaki takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kurosaki connects with a nice short shot to Clark's temple.

It looks like Kurosaki might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Kurosaki shoots for a double leg takedown but Clark sprawls well. He's pushed Kurosaki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Clark counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kurosaki's guard now.

Kurosaki winds up and cracks Clark with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Clark tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kurosaki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kurosaki moves into range and clinches up with Clark.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kurosaki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Clark pulls his leg out and moves away.
Horrible takedown by Clark or perhaps it was just good defense by Kurosaki which made him look bad.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyo Kurosaki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kurosaki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Clark doesn't manage to clinch there - Kurosaki circles away.

Kurosaki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

BOOM! Kurosaki connects with a massive shot to the dome!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clark is bucking up trying to escape but Kurosaki cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Jordan Clark's cut is getting worse.
A big strike lands for Kurosaki! That's really hurt Clark and he's turned his back - Kurosaki keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kurosaki jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyo Kurosaki!
