Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Uncomfortable Positions (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Diefenbaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uncomfortable Positions!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Diefenbaker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diefenbaker is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Diefenbaker misses with a body shot.
Positions throws a leg kick
and Diefenbaker counters with a three punch combo that has Positions backing up. Positions nods at Diefenbaker to acknowledge the strikes.

Positions bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Positions has knee on belly momentarily but Diefenbaker bucks him off and regains half guard.
Positions wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diefenbaker keeps working.
Positions thows a huge punch but Diefenbaker dodges it nicely.
Positions throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Diefenbaker has hold of Positions's hands but Positions slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Diefenbaker is looking for a sweep. Positions is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Positions wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diefenbaker keeps working.
Positions working over Diefenbaker with some ground and pound. Diefenbaker looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Positions is working for a kimura but Diefenbaker is defending it quite comfortably.
Diefenbaker has a hand on Positions's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Positions takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Positions is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Diefenbaker has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Diefenbaker is trying desperately to improve position.

That was a close round but I would say that Uncomfortable Positions will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Positions closes the distance and clinches up with Diefenbaker, looking for a takedown. Positions pushes Diefenbaker against the cage but Diefenbaker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Positions.
Diefenbaker sizes up Positions with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Positions walks forward, straight into a front kick from Diefenbaker.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Diefenbaker scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Positions doesn't seem bothered though.

Diefenbaker avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Diefenbaker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Positions.
Diefenbaker throws a shot from downtown. Positions moves away and avoids it.
Diefenbaker tries to score with a low kick but Positions moves his leg out of the way.
Positions shoots in for a takedown but Diefenbaker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Uncomfortable Positions seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diefenbaker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Positions.

and Diefenbaker counters with a body kick that stops Positions in his tracks momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Diefenbaker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

John Diefenbaker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Diefenbaker's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Diefenbaker duly obliges.
Positions avoids the body shot from Diefenbaker.
Positions connects with a high kick.
Diefenbaker jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Diefenbaker lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Positions tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diefenbaker was well out of range. Poor timing from Positions.
Good work by Positions as he checks the leg kick.

and Positions counters with a single leg into guard. Diefenbaker didn't expect that.

Diefenbaker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Positions keeps working.

Diefenbaker tries to stand and escape but Positions is controlling the position.
Diefenbaker is trying to control the action in half guard but Positions is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Diefenbaker trying to control the position from guard on top but Positions is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Positions wants to sweep here but Diefenbaker controlling him for the moment.

Positions has his foot on Diefenbaker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diefenbaker works his way back into a safe position though.

Positions lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Diefenbaker!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Uncomfortable Positions.
