Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pauly D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Hawking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pauly D!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stephen Hawking!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawking on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hawking comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hawking throws a sloppy body shot
and D counters with a three punch combo that has Hawking backing up. Hawking nods at D to acknowledge the strikes.
D defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hawking.
Hawking fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hawking tries to bum rush D with a series of wild strikes but D uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hawking.
D swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Hawking to counter with a crisp jab.
Hawking circles away from the clinch attempt.
D throws a poor cross that misses
and Hawking counters with a right hand to the body.
Hawking throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hawking takes a swing at D's ribcage but misses.
Hawking shoots in for a takedown but D shows good takedown defense.

Hawking shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hawking sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Hawking postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. D looks a forlorn figure.
D is rocked!

A big strike lands for Hawking! That's really hurt D and he's turned his back - Hawking keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Hawking jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
