Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shunsuke Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fook yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shunsuke Nakamura looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shunsuke Nakamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fook yu!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Nakamura.
Nakamura looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Nakamura steps to the side to avoid the strikes from yu.
yu takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Nakamura misses with an uppercut.

yu closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Nakamura quickly recovers to half guard.
yu scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
yu is taking a breather. Nakamura says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Nakamura has hold of yu's hands but yu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
yu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
yu looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Fook yu has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Nakamura gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
yu works over Nakamura with some ground and pound from guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
yu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Fook yu.

yu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

yu goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nakamura prevents it.

yu pulls guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
yu lands a good elbow from the bottom.

yu has his feet on Nakamura's thighs here. He's pushed Nakamura off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Nakamura screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
