The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jablowme dips to his left and cracks Jones with an uppercut!

and Jones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Jablowme throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jones on the side of the head.

Jablowme is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard.

Jablowme shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.

Jablowme closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jablowme is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.

Jablowme gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Jablowme has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jones off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jablowme. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jablowme is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jablowme has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.
Haywood Jablowme overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jones wants to get up but he can't break Jablowme's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jablowme is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jablowme bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
