Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frenchy Fuqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sigfredo Pineda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuqua comes to the cage accompanied by Diesal Power. Pineda has chosen "Suffer" by Vision of Disorder as his entrance music. Sigfredo Pineda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pineda tries to clinch there but Fuqua circles away.
Pineda moves to clinch but Fuqua breaks away
and Fuqua counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fuqua throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pineda on the side of the head.

enabling Fuqua to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Sigfredo Pineda has been cut.

Fuqua walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pineda.
Fuqua darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fuqua lands with a nice body kick.

Fuqua throws out a loose jab but Pineda uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fuqua looks to land a left hand but Pineda moved out of range nicely.

Fuqua breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pineda displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fuqua throws out the jab.

Pineda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pineda.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fuqua has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fuqua throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pineda works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Fuquais looking to pass into half guard but Pineda pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Pineda is in guard.
Fuqua is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fuqua is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pineda is just riding it out for now. Fuqua eventually gives up the hold.
Fuqua seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pineda does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pineda pushes Fuqua off and gets back to his feet.
Pineda slaps away a takedown attempt from Fuqua, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fuqua shoots in for a takedown but Pineda shows good takedown defense.
Pineda lets loose with a powerful body kick. Fuqua will feel that in the morning.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pineda is looking for a sweep. Fuqua is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Fuqua thows a body shot but no joy.
Fuqua looks to land a right hand but Pineda moved out of range.
Pineda moves to clinch but Fuqua breaks away
and Fuqua counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pineda feints a jab promting Fuqua to slip. Pineda then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fuqua slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Pineda has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Pineda closes the distance looking to clinch
and Pineda takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That has opened up Sigfredo Pineda's cut even more.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pineda. Fuqua does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fuqua throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fuqua misses with a two punch combination.
Fuqua avoids the head kick by Pineda.
Pineda takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Pineda lands a nice shot that snaps Fuqua's head back.

and Pineda counters with a low kick, right behind Fuqua 's knee.
Pineda throws a head kick that Fuqua semi-blocks.
Pineda throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Fuqua shoots for a double leg takedown but Pineda sprawls well. He's pushed Fuqua's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Fuqua makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Fuqua scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fuqua wants to take a breather but Pineda manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Fuqua.

Fuqua has gone for a leg lock! Pineda slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fuqua's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pineda tries to free his leg and advance position but Fuqua is retaining full guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fuqua had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pineda defends it easily.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Fuqua makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fuqua darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The cut above Sigfredo Pineda's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fuqua is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pineda can do to turn this around?

Sigfredo Pineda's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Pineda finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Fuqua counters with a straight right hand.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sigfredo Pineda's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
