The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terror with a poor takedown
and Terror takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Terror thuds his right hand into Alves's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A telegraphed right hand from Alves misses the target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Alves looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Terror!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Alves takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Terror wants to hold on but Alves pushes him away.

Terror is desperately trying to improve his position but Alves has a good base and remains in mount.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Guilherme Alves wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Alves fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Terror manages to avoid it.
Terror tries to keep at a distance but Alves has taken the fight into the clinch.
Alves works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Alves might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Alves is pushing down on Terror's leg trying to pass to half guard. Terror is fighting to maintain full guard but Alves has managed to sneak the leg through.
Terror is in trouble now - Alves has advanced to mount!
Alves tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Terror is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Alves pulls Terror into guard.
Alves looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Terror is defending well. Alves quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Terror has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Alves celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
