Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimbo Te Mako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Harry Cross has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Cross, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cross throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cross looks to land a combination but Te Mako avoids it well.
Nice defenses there by Te Mako.
Te Mako swings for the body but Cross moves out of range.
Cross throws a hook but Te Mako avoids it easily.
A jab from Cross finds it's way through Te Mako's defenses.
Te Mako dodges the punch combination from Cross.
Cross loads up on a big right hand but Te Mako slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Te Mako shoots in and gets a takedown into Cross's guard.
Te Mako works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Cross controlling the position for now.

Cross wants to get back to full guard but Te Mako has mounted him!
Cross reaches up to try and control the position but Te Mako seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Cross rolls and tries to escape and now Te Mako has his back!
Cross is breathing heavily.

Te Mako is working for a rear naked choke. Cross is not defending it well and Te Mako has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Cross refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Cross's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
