The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Activin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holden tries to avoid it but Activin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holden to the ground. Holden escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Activin throws a leg kick which misses Holden's front leg but catches the back leg as Holden tries to avoid it.
Holden moves away from the strike by Activin.

Activin closes the distance and pushes Holden back into the cage.
Holden lands a left hand that snaps the head of Activin backwards.
Activin lands a right hand that snaps the head of Holden backwards.
Holden presses Activin against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Activin blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Activin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Holden lands with a left to the head.
Holden blocking some punches.
Holden lands a right hand that snaps the head of Activin backwards.
Holden doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Holden.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Activin.
Holden goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Holden misses with some punches.

Activin has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Holden regains guard immediately.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Activin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Activin wants to control from the top but Holden keeps moving.

Activin stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Holden has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Activin manages to get his head free but now Holden has transitioned to an armbar! Activin grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Holden! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
