Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Samuels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Random (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Random is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nas - Made you look. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samuels scores with a takedown into Random's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Samuels won't allow Random to sweep him here.

Samuels swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Random is now in Samuels's guard. A big mistake from Samuels there, giving up the dominant position!

Random has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Samuels is proving hard to escape from.
Samuels has his foot on Random's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Random works his way back into a safe position though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Samuels digs a good hook to Random's body.
Samuels connects with a good right hand that stumbles Random. Random circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Samuels shoots in for a takedown but Random shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Samuels counters with a left to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Samuels crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Random - the referee stops the clock and Samuels gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Random. Samuels manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Rock Random seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Samuels fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Random manages to avoid it.
