Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Beebus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beebus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I'm about to WHOOP yo ACE!. Hunt has chosen Smells Like Teen Spirit as his entrance music. Mike Hunt acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Beebus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt throws a leg kick
enabling Beebus to counter with a crisp jab.
Beebus tries for a takedown but Hunt circles away easily

and Hunt holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Beebus has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hunt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Beebus successfully pulls guard.
Hunt is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Beebus keeping moving, preventing Hunt from controlling successfully.
Hunt looking to pass the guard.

Beebus is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hunt working some strikes from top position.

Hunt engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Hunt passes Beebus's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hunt is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Beebus reverses the position - he's now on top in Hunt's guard.
Beebus is looking to work some ground and pound but Hunt has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beebus trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Beebus throws a strike but Hunt rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hunt avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Beebus keeping moving, preventing Hunt from controlling successfully.

Hunt scoring with some ground and pound.

Beebus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hunt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hunt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Let's hope that Hunt has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Beebus had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hunt defends it easily.

Hunt keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Beebus's head.
Beebus is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Beebus working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hunt.
Hunt tries to free his leg and advance position but Beebus is retaining full guard.

Beebus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hunt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hunt pushes down on Beebus's leg and manages to get into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Hunt dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hunt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hunt attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Hunt closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hunt lands in his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beebus is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hunt pulls his head out easily.

Hunt seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hunt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hunt can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hunt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Beebus!

You get the feeling that Beebus really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Beebus is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hunt wants to control the pace but Beebus is squirming around nicely.

BOOM! Hunt connects with a massive shot to the dome!


It looks like Dave Beebus has been cut.

Hunt stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Beebus doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hunt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Beebus's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mike Hunt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dave Beebus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
