Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miyamoto Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Popham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Musashi comes to the ring accompanied by Andrea Bocelli- Time to Say Goodbye. Popham has chosen remember the name as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musashi lands with a shot to the body.
Popham tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Musashi swivels and escapes.

Musashi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Musashi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Miyamoto Musashi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey Popham.

Musashi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Musashi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Popham is just riding it out for now. Musashi eventually gives up the hold.

Popham has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Musashi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Popham is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Musashi pulls down on the head and he's put Popham to sleep! This one is all over!
