Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Wu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by MANY MEN. Jimmy Wu has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tiger Jones's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiger Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimmy Wu!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones blocks a low kick nicely.
Wu tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wu was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jones postures up in Wu's guard and throws a big left but Wu blocks it.
Wu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wu wants to pass to mount but Jones is defending the position.
Jones is staying active underneath Wu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jones is controlling Wu's trapped leg to prevent Wu from advancing to side control.

Wu is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Jones is not content to let Wu control the position.
Wu wants to free his trapped foot but Jones is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jimmy Wu.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Wu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wu wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wu looking for a sweep. Not yet Wu, not yet.
Wu seems keen to control Jones's posture.
Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jones throws a big right hand that misses.
Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Wu wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wu is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Jones is pushing down on Wu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wu is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.

Wu blocks a jab.
Jones throws a hook but Wu blocks it.
Jones jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jones connects with a body shot.
Nice sprawl there from Wu as Jones shoots in.
Tiger Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wu circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wu doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wu darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Wu turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wu pinned against the cage. Wu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wu lands with a kick to the ribs.

Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wu defends it nicely.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Wu. That's going to slow Jones down.
Wu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Wu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.

Wu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones avoids a kick to the body.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wu lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Tiger Jones has been cut.
Wu throws the kick towards the body but Jones avoids it.
Jimmy Wu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Wu does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Jones counters with a takedown into side control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wu is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wu is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jones is controlling him well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Wu is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Jones dives into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close second round but Jimmy Wu will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The cut man is working on Tiger Jones's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

and Wu counters with a thumping low kick.
Wu finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.

Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.

Wu smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wu as he avoids it easily.

Wu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wu moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wu manages to avoid it.

Jones is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wu looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range.
Jones is looking to wear down Wu with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Wu throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wu connects with a single shot there.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Wu counters with a nice uppercut.

Wu cracks the inside of Jones's front leg.
Wu looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Wu avoids the body shot from Jones.
Wu jabs Jones right on the nose. Jones blinks but takes it well.
A slapping leg kick lands for Wu.
Wu scores with a head kick. Jones tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Wu tries to score with a low kick but Jones moves his leg out of the way.

Wu tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Tiger Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jones slips a straight right by Wu.
Jones blocks a head kick by Wu.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wu throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wu tries a head kick but it misses.
Wu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Joness jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Jimmy Wu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Wu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
