PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keke Aijala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergi Lutsenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keke Aijala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergi Lutsenko!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aijala fails in his attempt to clinch.
Aijala throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lutsenko's waist but Lutsenko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Aijala off to one side.
Aijala shoots in looking for a takedown. Lutsenko tries to sprawl out of it but Aijala keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lutsenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Aijala wants to clinch up but Lutsenko keeps it at a distance.
Aijala looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keke Aijala. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lutsenko scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Aijala misses with a head kick.
Aijala has a takedown stuffed.
Lutsenko closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Aijala is breathing heavily.

Lutsenko moves into range and clinches up with Aijala.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lutsenko tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Aijala's elbow.
Aijala keeps control of Lutsenko as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lutsenko tries a body shot but Aijala blocks it.
Lutsenko is pressed up against the cage. Aijala has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lutsenko down to the mat. Lutsenko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lutsenko scores with a one two! Aijala had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
A left and a right from Lutsenko both land. Nice combination.

Aijala is rocked!
Lutsenko cracks Aijala with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Aijala tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lutsenko pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Aijala is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
