Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Crocker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Per Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Chris Crocker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chris Crocker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crocker lands a glancing blow to the side of Svensson's head.

It looks like Per Svensson has been cut.
Crocker misses with an uppercut. Svensson saw that one coming.
Crocker throws a body punch but Svensson moves out of range.
Crocker keeps the fight on the outside.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Svensson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Crocker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Svensson scrambles back to his feet.

Svensson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Crocker.

That was a close round but I would say that Chris Crocker will probably get the nod.

Svensson misses with a shot to the body
enabling Crocker to counter with a crisp jab.
Crocker sizes up Svensson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A slapping body kick lands there for Svensson.
Svensson takes one to the chin there.
Crocker is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Svensson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crocker tries to avoid it but Svensson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crocker to the ground. Crocker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Svensson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Crocker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Svensson is one step ahead there.
Svensson wants to control from the top but Crocker keeps moving.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Svensson is fighting to break Crocker's control of his arms but Crocker is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Per Svensson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Svensson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Crocker is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Svensson.
Svensson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Crocker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Svensson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chris Crocker will probably get the nod.
