The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe lands with a hook. Grande tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Grande shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Joe counters with a three punch combo that has Grande backing up. Grande nods at Joe to acknowledge the strikes.
Joe scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Grande misses the shot to the body.
Joe works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Grande misses with a takedown attempt
and Joe counters with a two punch combo.
Grande has his takedown stuffed
and Grande takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ugly Kid Joe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nacho Grande.
Joe connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Grande momentarily.

Grande is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Joe lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Grande is looking to close the distance but Joe sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Grande crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Grande is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
