Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dominic Rude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Rock!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rude throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rude doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rock tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Rude to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Robbie Rock has been cut.
Rock looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rude!
Rock can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rude is looking to escape.
Rude keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rock throwing strikes here but Rude is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Rock misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Rude gets back to half guard.

Rock passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rude!
Rude tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Rude blocking the ground and pound.
Rude squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Rude taking shots to the head.
Rock sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Rude tries to hold on but Rock postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rock trying to control but Rude is having none of it.
Rude is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rude wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Rock.
Rude avoids a strike by Rock and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Rock's guard! Fantastic escape!

Rude won't allow Rock to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rude throws a right and a left that Rock avoids nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rude. Rock does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rude scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sloppy strikes from Rude. Those never looked like landing.
Rock swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Rude counters with a series of strikes that sends Rock to the canvas! Rude follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rock looks gassed!
Rude advances position into side control!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Rude taking a breather here.
Rude stands up.
Rude looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rude wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice body punch from Rude.
Rude stalks Rock and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rock's face. Rock staggers backwards, shaken.
Rude scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rock doesn't seem bothered though.
Rude lands a slapping body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dominic Rude dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Robbie Rock's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rude will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rock takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rude cracks Rock with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rude lands with a hook. Rock tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Rude wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rock has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rock there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rock takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rude drops Rock with a right and a left! Rude comes rushing in but Rock regains his composure and manages to keep Rude in guard.
Rock is rocked!
That has opened up Robbie Rock's cut even more.
Rude showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Rock is still in real trouble! Can Rude finish him?
Rock seems to have recovered his senses.
Rude passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Rock is breathing heavily.

Rude controls the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Rude decides to stand back up. Rude steps back and let's Rock get back to his feet.
Rude is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rock can do to turn this around?

Rude lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Rude shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rock eats them both and turns towards Rude to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The cut above Robbie Rock's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rock gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rude.
Robbie Rock's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Rude changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rude connects with a body shot.

Rude connects with a body shot that sends Rock's belly button to the back.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Robbie Rock's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
