Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between C G Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Harden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Harden.
Stark throws a nice looking combination but Harden bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Stark takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Stark takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Stark pulls Harden in close to his closed guard and prevents Harden from doing any damage or advancing position.

Harden stands and steps away. Stark gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Stark throws a right and a left that both miss.

Stark is trying to drag Harden to the mat but Harden just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Stark is pushing Harden up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Harden keeps control of Stark as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Stark manages to break the clinch.
Harden stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Harden ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stark moves away.
Stark with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Harden to score with a decent uppercut.
Harden scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

enabling Harden to counter with a crisp jab.
Harden throws a series of strikes that have Stark backpedaling.
Stark tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Harden was well out of range. Poor timing from Stark.
Harden stuns Stark with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Harden lands a nice shot to the body.
Stark feints a jab promting Harden to slip. Stark then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Harden slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Doug Harden seems to be getting the better of the standup.

C G Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stark tries to clinch but Harden is having none of it.
