Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbs comes to the cage accompanied by Amazing by Kanye West. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibbs uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Parker.
A swing and a miss from Parker.
Parker swinging wilding here.
Parker looks to land a combination but Gibbs avoids it well.
Parker throws a right and a left that both miss.
No joy there for Parker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch combination from Parker misses.
Parker looks to land a right hand but Gibbs moved out of range.

Gibbs has closed the distance and engaged Parker in a clinch.
Gibbs tries to pull guard but Parker holds him up against the cage and eventually Gibbs drops back down to his feet.
Parker misses with a body punch.
Gibbs is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Parker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker is trying to stall.
Gibbs keeps control of Parker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Gibbs pulls guard successfully.
Parker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Parker wants to control from the top but Gibbs keeps moving.
Parker controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gibbs had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Parker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gibbs Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Parker's back instead.
Parker is trying to get back to his feet but Gibbs has full control of the position and if anything, Parker has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Gibbs is cranking Parker's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Parker! He's tightened the choke and Parker is tapping out!
