Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Moltov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maksim Kvardickii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maksim Kvardickii told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maksim Kvardickii!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moltov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kvardickii doesn't seem bothered though.
Sloppy strikes from Moltov. Those never looked like landing.
Kvardickii looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moltov is fending him off so far but Kvardickii persists. Nope, Moltov circles away and we're back to standing.
Kvardickii throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moltov's waist but Moltov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kvardickii off to one side.
Moltov misses with a few strikes there.
Moltov lands a nice shot to the body.
Moltov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Moltov scores with a one two! Kvardickii had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Moltov thuds his right hand into Kvardickii's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A nice combination there by Moltov.
Kvardickii is rocked!
Moltov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kvardickii shoots in for a double leg but Moltov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ivan Moltov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maksim Kvardickii.
Kvardickii looks gassed!
Moltov jabs Kvardickii right on the nose. Kvardickii blinks but takes it well.
Kvardickii is still on wobbly legs! Can Moltov finish him?
Kvardickii get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Kvardickii stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Moltov runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ivan Moltov!
