Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Draven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phi Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eric Draven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Phi Cho!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cho rushes Draven and presses him up against the cage.
Nice elbow from Draven.
Draven tries to work over Cho's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Draven tries to land knees in the clinch but Cho avoids the damage to the body.
Draven is looking to control Cho's arms but Cho gets an underhook and turns him. Now Draven has his back to the cage.
Cho misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Draven.
Cho lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Draven.
Cho tries to stall but Draven uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Phi Cho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cho is trying to drag Draven to the mat but Draven just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Draven lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cho or not.

Cho loads up on a big right hand but Draven slips the punch.
Cho throws a left and a right that both miss
and Draven counters with a stiff right hand.
Cho rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Draven counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cho throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Cho shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Draven manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cho stays in close to Draven's body and controls the position.

Draven wants to get back to his feet but Cho is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Phi Cho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
