Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pierre LePew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franko Mia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LePew comes to the cage accompanied by Dirty House. Mia has chosen . as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Franko Mia!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LePew throws a right hand that misses
and Mia makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
LePew takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Franko Mia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
LePew fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mia looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

LePew is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mia to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mia shrugs it off.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mia enables LePew to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mia manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Mia will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
