The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Margules swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Margules is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dammon is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Margules has his foot on Dammon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dammon works his way back into a safe position though.

Margules is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Margules is controlling the pace.
Dammon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dammon tries to get out of the position.
Margules is trying to control the action in half guard but Dammon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dammon catches Margules napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Margules to the canvas!

Margules is rocked!

Dammon stands up from Margules's guard - Dammon perhaps looking for a knockout.
Dammon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Margules looks up at the clock. Bad move! Dammon lands a right hand from hell, dropping Margules. Dammon pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
